The challenge
Happy Head sells prescription hair-loss treatment, competing with Hims, Keeps and Ro, many with five to ten times its domain authority.
Meta drove most new customers. There was minimal non-branded search visibility, no content engine and no link program.
What we did
- Own the moleculeWe built the content and links to win dutasteride, the category the larger competitors weren’t chasing at scale.
- Collection architectureWe built collection pages that stop product pages cannibalizing each other, and linked the blog into the pages that sell.
- Built to be quotedWe structured every guide for AI extraction: comparisons, before-and-after evidence and dermatologist attribution.
The result
After 13 months, traffic to product and collection pages, the URLs that drive prescriptions, is up 137% year over year, with an 81% month-over-month jump in January 2026. Happy Head now appears in AI Overviews and AI assistant answers for its core treatments.
